Terminal window freezesPressing CTRL+S in an application such as VIM in a terminal window will cause it to freeze.
This is pretty easy to do especially if you are moving between a GUI and the command line. The window freezes becuase the XOFF or stop command has just been sent (flow control codes). To start again press CTRL+Q, which is XON or go. Share this! |
